Listr is free to download, and a list of your own is free to keep — Auto-Group, notes and photos, custom groups, colours and icons, the Home Screen widget and the Apple Watch app are all in there. Listr Pro unlocks unlimited lists and shared lists, and you can take it monthly, yearly, or as a one-off lifetime purchase. There’s a free trial on the subscriptions, and the App Store shows the price for your region before you commit.
The app is free to download and a list of your own stays free, which is enough if you just want one running shopping list on your own phone. Unlimited lists and sharing a list with anyone else are Pro features. The subscriptions start with a free trial, so you can try shared lists properly before deciding anything.
Open the list, tap the invite button and send the link however you like — Messages, WhatsApp, email, anything. When they open it, they join the list. You never need their email address or phone number.
Yes. Listr is a native iOS app and syncs through iCloud, so everyone on a shared list needs an iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch. That’s also why sync is instant and nothing you write is stored on our servers.
Yes — joining a shared list needs Pro at both ends, and Listr tells them so when they open your invite. That’s what the Family plan is for: it covers up to six people, so a household or a share house sorts it out once instead of everyone buying separately.
